It seems to me if worried about trap inside jaw measurement the Harris trap is best choice the 5.5 is 5 1/2 outside to outside before lamination being perfectly round and all with absolutely no dead space on the pan both jaw hold down and (cheaper than the alfalfa I believe )???? No grinding ready to go out the box own swivel system. Might look into it Harris traps. A plug for a buddy a coyote trap for coyote trappers. Imo

Red mt . Is that the one that the pan is held up by 3 points ? Any pictures? Well I just talked to kim he want some money for them but they are manufactured in the usa to put together in Montana. The 6 are 360 370 ish a dozen. 5.5 are 312 ish a dozen but still like the trap and apparently they did at national's he came home empty also .

I like the sound of NO dead spots I got 6 of his 6's I use for problem coyotes in the spring. Those on a drag 12 ft. Chain worked for me.. Lots of good traps out there.

I saw the wolf version at the Montana convention and I’ve wanted to try the coyote size real bad. Yes, they are expensive, but they are built like tanks and made 100% in the USA

Curious how much they cost and where you can buy them? Kim Harris 406 450 5961 Harrisndztraps@gmail.com Cost depends on which size and how many you buy. Cheaper than Sterlings or Jakes.
