Was going thru some old photos from Aizona, you were allowed one of these per season. They are a litlle more meaner than they look.

I trapped further north from where they were at did get ringtails but never one of those.

A guy killed one in south Louisiana a few years ago thinking it was a deformed raccoon.

Nope that one was a young one that wanted some attention, they are pretty smart. but again i know a rancher that had one drop in the back of his pickup with some cattle dogs and the dogs all bailed out, the rancher shot the critter in the bed of the truck, they also hang out in troops or family units.
