Do any of you guys do bat work on these types of buildings? I think I'll pass on this one. It's in CT if anyone is interested.

I'd run. Sometimes it's best to realize you're looking at a no win situation. If you can't solve the issue, both you, and the client are going to be unhappy.

Oh, I already ran. If they strip the roof and put on asphalt, I'll consider it. Too old, too tired and too much residential work to do as it is.
I was just interested in who has done them, and how did it go?

Not sure Vinke, never gave it a thought. Also don't know much about it. I've only worked on one house with tiles, that was for sparrows and starlings. And it was a PITA.

Two piece has pans and covers
Covers are nailed to a board that runs vertically up the roof. Lots of that on older experience homes in AZ
