I have several areas that look great for coyotes but they are very open so any catches would be visible during the day. I can't check traps until after 3pm so I need a way to hide catches.

I was thinking of using 1/8" cable with wolf fangs on each end and slide locks to get them over ditch banks (the only cover available) I am worried about the durability of the cable for a coyote.

I would appreciate any advice and thoughts from anyone with experience using sliders in a situation like this. How do they hold up, and is there any problems with breakage.

Thanks
