Burnt Cylinder Oil (used motor oil) is tops for rust-proofing....Wiped down rusty traps not in use with it years ago, they still look great.

And you're paying too much for your Fluid Film. $ 8.95 for the Aerosol and $38.00 for a gallon.

our winter road salt is sure hard on vehicles I have a gravel driveway and only just recently noticed the white footprints left behind where we park from the winter salt and calcium chloride dripping off the vehicles. Been here ten years and this is the first time it ever jumped out at me. That's last winters residue.

This oiling has to be done when you buy a new vehicle….or at the most a 2-3 year old vehicle. Heck ….Iam seeing rust bubbles on 2017 Chevy …Dodge and other vehicles. And you aluminum Ford guys still need to oil the frames and gas and brakes and tranny lines too. This pic was taken 2 years ago of a 2011 Dodge Truck….

I've never used Fluid Film. I see it is quite expensive. What would be the benefit of using Fluid Film over motor oil?

Just ask Dave for details on fluid film. He knows more about it than I ever wanted to know.
