Hey that’s pretty cool. I turkey hunted that Reservation several years ago. Bear and cat tracks were quite common to see. I had a very close encounter with a bear and my buddy got some good video of a cat that got a little to close.

That's cool stuff!! I grew up in the bootheel of New Mexico and while I was in high school, mid to late 90s, Warner Glenn ran into one while hunting mountain lions. He got some really cool pics before eventually calling the dogs off, which, I'm sure took a little while as he had some really good hounds. A guy I used to day work for down there is good friends with Warner and he had some of those pics framed up in the sequence that they were taken. The jag was down in this hole in the rocks and Warner was taking pics, and you can see some of the hounds in them, and the sequence continues as the jag is coming out of the hole and leaves. Pretty neat stuff, people in that country talked about that for a few months.

Warner caught another one, years later, down in the same country.

Yes sir bearcat2, I don't remember how long after the first one though. I want to say I had been in college for 3 or 4 years when he ran into the second one.
