Just finished watching the above video, now I see why he was one of the best. It is amazing that a lot of the same sets we use today, (just different names) was so effective in the 1940's. But, we sure have come along way in the trapping arena, in traps, equipment, etc.

Last weekend we had a trapping show in Kinross, Mi and it was really cool to see a lot of young folks many under twelve. We did a demo for Muskrat down at the lake and all kids got a Herb Lenon Classic Trapping Dvd, Lenon Muskrat Super All Call lure and the association provided a trap and muskrat float for all the kids. I visited with Asa Lenon after the show and we have decided to put all the contents of Herb Lenon's various books on www.lenonlures.com so future young trappers will be able to read the books that are very rare to find. I expect to complete the web project in February and March when trapping slows down a bit. Plus I got to have some pics to put in between the chapters online.

Nice meeting you John, at Kinross, and really appreciate the video. Not a young trapper but I'll be looking forward to Herb's books.
