Loaded up on some new baits and lures to try this year. Marty seems like a good dude and I put a few hundred bucks in his pocket for a broad range of his canine baits and lures. Snagged a couple gallons of both his fox and coyote urine. Pacific Call, SS, Super Call, 1-11 Decoy, Mamba, Super 21, Punisher, Fox Gland, Coyote Gland, and some new bait to test. My son and I are really looking forward to collecting some intel on this gear as the season progresses. Anyone else rolling heavy with Marty’s work? [Linked Image]

That bait and the 1-11 decoy are hammers. You chose well.

I have bought a lot of urine in the last 33 years. But Marty has some VERY good coyote urine.

Showtime and Bill Nelson formula here, Marty sells the good stuff.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Breaking down larger quantities of his bait and lure into smaller containers to carry and use, and I am really liking the strength profile of these. Power when needed but also mild offerings that are remaining consistent in outdoor exposure. Which I suppose one could also label as power as it doesn’t seem to lose much scent at all after my dipstick test. I put an amount equal to what I would use at a set and give it a test drive in the weather for a predetermined time to see when the scent profile begins to really fall off. Might not be a legit test in the eyes of some but it either starts to build my confidence or it doesn’t. I think confidence is a huge factor in the overall effectiveness of not just lure, but bait and a lot of other aspects of what we do as trappers too. It has stoked my fever even more in anticipation of opening day.
