Do weasels like peanut butter? Just picked up my second one in a snap trap baited with only p.b. Either they like it or there’s enough mouse odor in the little Tupperware tub I use. Just wondering if anyone was seen this.

They are attracted to anise so you never know what else attract them. I kept a "pet" weasel for a year one time. Watching him put the the brakes on a live mouse was really cool. Loved raw venison scraps and would play with an ball of aluminum foil on a string that I dangled. Never trusted him enough to handle him. Finally released him.

Every time I find evidence of a weasel around I pull all my snap traps in the shed. I highly encourage a weasel living in my sheds.

The ones I’ve caught were on my mouse for bait line in fence lines . They are good to have around the place
