While I've done some turtle trapping it wasn't enough to have used both or to form an opinion.
I'm about to order some nets and just wondering what others think.

While you're at any particular specs you like such as mesh size hoop size/type, etc.

Order from beaverfoot on here. He makes the best nets I have ever used.

If it makes a track on this earth , I can catch it.

I never liked net style traps.
I made my own traps out of galvanized 2X4 inch mesh wire. Traps are two feet wide, 4 feet long, and two feet high. They collapse flat, so you can transport quite a few at a time. Much easier to remove a snapper out of and easier to set. Turtle doesn't get all tangled up in any netting.

Some mornings I wake up grouchy. Some mornings I let her sleep.

The flat throat seams to work better than the finger throat. With the finger throat they will get tangled in the fingers. The D Hoop nets that I make all have the flat throat in them. Dave 318-465-5961
