Wanting to get some good hip waders. I've been looking at Dan's and Yoders. Any suggestions?

I’ve got a set of Dan’s also. Got them just before beaver trapping in March. Worked good. My Dan’s boots seem to have a narrower/tighter boot compared to other size 11s that I own. No issue for me as I figure it will be harder for my foot to come out of them in mud.

Where do you order the Dan's boots.

I use cheep pair from academy. Patch a couple of times, and throw them away and get a new pair. Now, with the shortages. I might go and get and extra pair.

That's what I use now but we have rocky river/creek bottoms, kills my feet

How close to your shoe size are Dan's boots, do they run small or large?

Go to Dan's site there are many boot options.
They had my favorite boot as an option, so sizing wasn't a problem.
Dan's fogger hip wader.
Hope this helps.

Have had two pairs of Dan's and still go back to the all rubber Lacrosse. Dan's are way too narrow for my wide feet and I have to get them 2 sizes bigger to try to fit (only 1 size larger for Lacrosse). I like the light weight and convenience of Dan's as all those nylon upper hip waders are copied from the Wick's Coon Hunter Boots of the 90's. My feet "swim" for length in the 2 size larger Dan's so get a pair in hand and try them on before you buy............... the mike

Try rolling up a wool sock and put it in the toe of your Dan's

Lacrosse Trapline Boots have been a part of me for as long as I can remember. They’re tough, warm, and thick.

MinkCoon Trapper, I have tried similar "stuffing" for many years and if you think I am clumsy with regular boots, try me with with one 2 sizes bigger than normal LOL !!!!!!!! Not the first time for me and if it works for others great but day in and out its extra sole and bends that I don't need. I can suffer through the Lacrosse better but thanks for the thought........................ the mike ....................P.S. I still have a size 10 Dan's hardly used but I finally took my 13's and separated the upper nylon from the lower boot and split the upper's sidewall, added zippers and turned them into chaps. That I like as it gets used when I kneel down.
