bob maier OP trapper B Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 401 walla walla ,washington	Don’t know where I saw this set. Can a person set a conibear at right angle to the dam after making a break in the dam? That way beaver swims along dam and hit conibear before getting to dam break.

In the right location with a bit of fencing,that set can work.Not a great set though.That set ,and similar sets near the dam do have their place when trapping after freeze up but before the ice is safe to walk on. Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.
