But at the very least, one or more persons are guilty of criminally negligent homicide - manslaughter. There are very strict safety protocalls that were not followed. And it was apparently not the first "accidental discharge on that set. Not an attorney - but IMHO someone(s) needs to be held accountable. Sneak the pan under his paw!

The stage gun was only a snubby .38, so he brings in his own gun, which is a 6" .44 cal. The 2 directors were arguing that he can't use that weapon because it hasn't been cleared and the actor gets infuriated and not remembering that he hasn't checked the gun for ammo, in anger points gun at directors and squeezes off a round... to find out it was still loaded and he has hit and killed the lady director, who by chance was pregnant with his baby. I think that sounds more logical than... "I didn't know the gun was loaded." Garry- “Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he'll just kill you.” Have been trapping 77 years…
