LOL that gun is a MK 19 grenade launcher. My guess is Coonman never served. In this last war the enemy feared being killed by a woman. Nevermind the fact that woman are naturally better shots than men (lower center of gravity)...

Today in the USA about 1 in 5 officers in the military is female and about 1 out of 6 enlisted soldiers are female. We probably would have even more recruitment issues with a voluntary military if females were not signing up. The trend of having even more female officers may continue as more females are going to and graduating from universities. Several posts reference females they know that could shoot, fight etc. The issue is not about how a few individuals may do or not do, it is about females having the freedom and responsibility to serve their nation in a military environment.

Yes, and as a retirement plan, putting in the time to become an officer and devote 30 yrs in, you can't get a better retirement plan.

A sight to see is in Israel. Women in the military are all over carrying their service weapon regardless of where they are. Go to the beach there they are in bikinis with their weapon, go to a wedding a bar etc... they are there with their weapon. You'd be amazed to see a 5'1" lady carrying a 50 cal or a lady carrying m16 with grenade launcher. They are required to carry their service weapon at all times in or out of uniform

coonman. How long has it been since you've gone a day without whining about something or someone. Get your crap together. Your life will be better when you do.

Darn man, figure it out.

coonman you need to get a life, i served 25 years in the infantry , retired in 2005 lots of changes since then including women in combat infantry units, i say if that's where they want to serve let them do it. and the enemy will not know if the gunner is a man or a woman and as far as being young most soldiers are young i was 18 when i enlisted am 60 yrs old now. am guessing you didn't serve in the military, unless it was your home country am guessing soviet bloc or there abouts, anyway leave the your soldier to do her duty serve this nation proudly banchee

Wasn't there an old quote about "the size of the dog in the fight"?

I don't have a problem with women in the military. If that's what they want- let them enjoy it.

I would have a hard time with a woman in combat on my 6,,,,,, especially if I knew she had a family with young kids.
No disrespect to to women,,,,, just me being old school, plus if she was perty 0 would be on my mind…. Lol

I meant that he was small stature and among the legendary martial artists of his time. Jackie Chan is another , there are many.

In combat the machine gun is the target. Not who is behind it. In WWII the life expectancy of a machine gunner was measured in seconds, not minutes.

I reach to the top shelf to help……
