I came into a Kassnar Deluxe rifle scope. It looks cherry but I have a question.

Looking on-line, it appears most Kassnars are for .22's. Did they make scopes for high power rifles? I don't want to bust this one if its for a 22.

To add, its a 3-9 with what looks like a 44mm bell if that helps.

Correction, after putting on my readers, its a 42mm bell.

they were Japanese and Korean imports late 60s to 89

appears there were some for center fire rifles

unsure if yours is , most 22 rifle scopes of the time were 1/2moa and not 1/4 moa so if it is marked 1/2moa I would think 22 only

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Yup. Big in the 60s-70s. Not bad for the time but they don't hold a candle to even basic scopes today. Modern scopes, even the $100 base models have way better coatings, adjustments and sealing then them.

They made them for rimfire and centerfire.
