rattrapper1234 OP trapper R Joined: Mar 2021 Posts: 343 Va	I have started "collecting" user montys in all different sizes and was wondering if they ever made a 1.75 sized trap? I have seen some mention of them but nothing definitive.

seniortrap trapper S Joined: May 2012 Posts: 5,897 michigan,USA	They went right from 1.5 to the 2 because of coyotes. It was almost the same size of Victor #2 round jaw(I think). The heavier jaws and stiffer springs on both of the 1.5 and 2 were enough to hold a coyote. Vietnam--1967 46th. Const./Combat Engineers "Chaotic action is preferable to orderly inaction." MChewk trapper M Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 9,826 Northern Illinois	I think the OLD Montgomery, Mahaffey, Pa. did not but Terry Montgomery from Ogden, Utah who bought out the old North woods line of traps that became Bridger traps did make a round jaw 1.75 coil.
