That green box has always been a good one for me. I mostly shoot reloads now, but a plain vanilla cup and core bullet is all I need for whitetails in NC. I use Sierra a lot, some Hornaday too.

Boys...need to ask Savell on this subjuct. He know it takes a new fangled high do!let bullet to take a trophy. Got to be sponsored by at least 10 different folks. Lab tests are critical and years of development. Just can't use any old off the shelve stuff to take a trophy... Come'on man...

I used to shoot the PSP Remington bullets. But, I changed to loading the Barnes X bullets for my 30-06 and 300 WSM. They had better penetration and perfect mushrooms with no bullet weight loss.
Remember as a kid we played army and you gave up the fort so the other side got it? Of course you don't. Little kids aren't that stupid.

Here in France, I used to be able to buy Norma ammo for my Swift and it shot well. After I couldn't get that, I bought Remingtom PSP in the same grain weight and they shoot almost as well. I've never missed a fox or a roe buck because of the bullet.
Nowadays here, the shipments of US ammo are rare, so I'm being stingy with my Whelen ammo, but I loaded up on Remington for my 270 and the Swift.
Sometimes I wonder if some of us are overly concerned with sub MOA accuracy. Unless you are a 600 yard elk guy.
