Ok then, you can trap for 4 or 5 hours a day in and out of ditches and creeks, I know it's painful but you can still do it. Working/walking on a flat surface is where you draw the line though. You just got to retire then you're problems are solved. You're going to retire and wind up paying for your knee surgery out of your own pocket and you're fine with that and that's up to you. You're losing money trapping most likely but the real problem you have is groceries and gas went up.

Dave, I have to disagree with you. Not all factories suck and have nasty people in them. I worked in a factory for 32 years and I can tell you, I wouldn't want to work with or around someone like you. Your attitude is not the greatest and bad or poor attitudes are just as contagious as a positive attitude is. Especially in a factory environment.

Factory work is like any other job, it is what you decide to make of them. I'm sure you are good, hard worker too as you have told us many times. But, what you always fail to mention is how much complaining you do. I'm willing to bet that for the amount you complain on this site, you are also complaining to someone at work too. We all have choices to make and you have chose to stay at jobs you don't like. You chose to stay as a part-time worker and you choose to keep complaining about other people, your job etc. etc.

Are you the type of person you would hire, are you the type of person you would want to work with? Are you the type of person that tries to find the good in things?

Try to find the good in something for a change, try to be positive and try to enjoy yourself for a change. You deserve it.

I don't complain at work, they fire u, nasty mean ppl , I not only one who talks of ones run an in factory , I know many others thoughout years, factory's ate where u go when never went to school so if ur younger u might wanna consider it or get stuck in crap hole in ground , where got take ladder to get down into in morning , didn't get any grocery's in town there Tonite, work some half black Mex or Purto Rican mix other day I not sure but the next day he work someone else an walk out door, seem pretty interested in break an bathroom when I with him, I wish I could get away with that stuff, so now there after me take vacation. Last week as temp an came out office an ask what up last week, some other probly Anti workers wanna get me fired, idk , I laugh them an tell them what think crap hole, , work an trapping don't go well, I always notice dont drive as good after work if run traps as if no work, so leave work today some black guy pull out front me an didn't look am nearly cream him, earlier on way work again, a Schneider national black truckdriver pull out bottom hill from stop sign in front ppl go 35 mph an didn't even pay any attention , probly another worker or driver that last a cpl days

They don’t want to get you fired, you may not believe this. But nobody is talking about you, people don’t do things to get you. Most people probably don’t ever think about you. Same as me, nobody thinks about me or cares about getting me fired. The only person worries about me is my son who wants me to build a train set with him.

My boss trusts that my job is being done, and it is! Very well I might add.



As far as trapping and work. They go great. I check 5 properties before work, then check two during lunch break, and the other on the way home.

I’m not worried about my truck breaking down though, it only has 75,000 miles on it.


Of course you do better trapping when not working, you don’t want to work. We are all more energetic when just trapping. Just like I’m more energetic when I haven’t been getting up to go hunting at 3 am and going to bed at 10pm.


Would you have reacted differently if it was a white dude that pulled out in front of you or a white truck driver at to e bottom of a hill? If you noticed the color of their skin, you should have already assessed the situation and noted the traffic hazard no matter their race.

Or was it the race you were concerned about? Not their driving?

BP gas stations or corperate sucks, another one I rember at different times would leak gas by nozzle an all over hand, happen twice, the first time last Feb one nite when -30, the attendent laugh about it, these pumps that go slow, everyone should complain , the attendent should be Hollar yell at till quit, I pay 6 cents more at truckstop from now on. With Phillips 66, better gas than BP crud

I suspect that the BP c-stores in your town are a franchise operation. "Corporate" BP doesn't care what happens there as long as some gas gets sold.
