I have a half dozen 28's but not an H&R. My Savage 28 hammerless is one of my favorites.
I have nothing clever to put here.

Buying and selling is done in the TRAP SHED forum. That being said Rule # 9 says NO GUNS BOUGHT OR SOLD with the exception of black powder.

Can't say I've ever seen a 28 gauge H&R though. I had one but it was like carrying a heavy 4x4, sold it years back. Grey squirrel, I can highly recommend you spend a little more money and get a nicer .28. You'll have a gun you are proud to carry. This one is very nice and often available these days when some guns are hard to find. https://cz-usa.com/product/cz-bobwhite-g2/

Thanks for all the great replies, I appreciate it, I’m looking for a specific type 28 ga for a friend of mine that lost his family heirloom years ago and he still talks about it so I thought I’d try and find one , he would probably cry lol . Very nice of you. I wish I could aid in your search. Good luck to you. He must of had an older style gun, the new "Pardner" ones are kinda clunky and wouldn't be much of an heirloom.

My first gun in the late 50s was a single shot 28 gauge. Kept it a few years. Ammo was not available even then in a small town. funny that I was in a hardware store up here and they had 40 boxes of 28 guage in various sizes, even steel ! the store owner came in from the maritines so he must have dragged it across Canada....
