Iam looking for a new Wintah hat….whats you take on these hats from stormy Kromer. I have my fur hats for ice fishing…just looking for an every day Wintah hat. Thanks

They are excellent! They don’t cover the ears much but they definitely keep the heat in. They have cover the ear ones.We use them here.Best hat in my opinion.VERY warm.

They are quite stylish too.
They took off in popularity after Ed Gein made them famous.

Excellent caps, made in (I think) Ironwood, MI. We took the plant tour several years ago on our way to the Apostle Islands. Wearing one as I write. I own 5 of them.
One of my original caps just wore out. I contacted Stormy Kromer. They sent me a new cap. Free. I still have the old one and wear it if I'm doing really dusty or dirty work.

I have a lahge assortment of them, in various colahs, camo, and even one in waxed canvas. I got my first one over 25 yeahs ago.
They are a great hat!
