Need Help Please with Facebook, I can’t log into Facebook or Facebook Messenger, I could possibly be in Facebook Jail, but the last time when I was in Facebook jail I was still able to see my notifications and I was still able to look at my forums on Facebook messenger. I tried going to Safari and clearing my Cache, When I go to reset my password it says you have tried too many attempts and your locked for 24 hours, I waited 3 days and I still get the 24 hour message, My name has been removed from all my friends Facebook friends list, any ideas ? Thank You

Sounds like the same thing that happened to Drifter awhile back. Someone hacked him and changed his password. He never could get back on and had to make a new account. There's no way to contact anyone at FB for help, so you're probably just screwed.

With Craigslist being basically Dead and EBay out of Control, The amount of Forums Available on Facebook is amazing, If you want to learn to Trap, Tan hides or find old Parts the amount of forums with people willing to help you is endless, I work on a lot of Antique Cars so the forums allow you to find the parts, Trade or sell them

If your account was hacked there is a way to retrieve it. You have to get some of your " Facebook friends" to go to a webpage to get a code and they send it to you and you're able to get back in. I'm not sure about the details though.

Why not just start a new account? At least that would get you back up and running until you get your current account figured out if you ever do. I know folks that have started multiple accounts in their same name for no reason other than they forgot their passwords.

It wouldn't be easy, you'd have to rejoin all of them. And you'd have to resend friend requests to everyone.

If I remember correctly, when Pete tried to recover his account using the three friend thing, it said the friends had to be pre-chosen BEFORE the hacking occurred. We spent about a week trying to recover his account but never could.

There is NOTHING easy about making a new account but it's likely what you will need to end up doing. As soon as you do, go into settings and explore it and make sure you set up the ways needed to be able to recover it if this ever happens again.

Had a similar problem, this happens when they update your system. I had an older i pad, i ended up buying a new I pad and reinitialized and everything was great except i lost 90 days of photos because i had failed to back them up. make sure you keep track of all pass words and logins. i took me almost a week and a real pain. FB updates can be reviewed on you tube as others have had similar problems. Also watch out for older battery issues.
