So we had a new piece of crown land open up, turning fields back into salt marsh. Coon trails everywhere . Now my question is, how to catch coon with turning them into balls or mud. No conibears unless in dogproof boxes(which they aren't bothering with), no snaring till next week, I'm at odds of what to do as we know they aren't worth much and I wont bother with them if there is no way of keeping them clean. What do y'all think? I may wait to set snares but there is a few pheasant hunters including myself...

Dogs kick the bodygrips out so you're left with trying to catch them on high points if you're trying to no have mudballs.

Id look at high ground going into the marsh as they likely arent denning in the marsh itself so catch them there if you can.
