Yes , you are reading that correctly , 1 cent. Nothing really special , just a typing tutorial to help you get your typing up to speed a little. Nothing fancy , but only one cent. When I found this in the computer games section , I could not believe the price. I asked a store associate , he replied that was the correct price. As I cashed out at the cashier , I asked again. The cashier replied that this was a way for the store to remove a slightly outdated item from their inventory as new versions are out there too. This allows the store's computer to see the item has been removed. I paid exactly 1 cent , no tax as it fell below the tax threshold.

Not the greatest thing in the world , but it has improved my typing considerably. Best Buy does this a bit , I have gotten a few more items for 1 cent.

Nice find. I took typing class in my sophomore year of high school and though it has been almost forty-five years ago I can still remember finger placement. I hunt & peck like lightning with two fingers.

I did the same thing , typing class in high school. Then hunt&peck.

I spend a lot more time on 'home row' due to this typing tutorial now. My typing has improved a bit , Thank You , Mavis Beacon.

Yea took typing in 8th grade. Never really used it until computers came out but my muscle memory was still there. Guess it was kind of like riding a bike for me. Sure is a lot nicer to just hit back instead of breaking out the old white out when I do make a mistake.

I can still hear the clatter of a classroom full of typewriters. Bet I'm not the only one!

It seems like yesterday...typing class. I cheated back then, but it seems i picked
some things up. Mrs. Maj...ski would tape a piece of paper above the keyboard, but
over my hands so I didn't peak at the keys.. I rarely type, but i dont have to look at the keys
when i do.

Yup took it mid school.

Had a boss get very mad when double spaced wasn't used. No matter how much she got educated that double space occurs automatically with computer and phone keyboards she wasn't having it. Mind you she was in her early 40's. So she did both keyboard and computer in school like I did.

One day she called me in the office to tell me to double space. I agreed and double spaced like I was instructed and had been taught throughout schooling and college (double space between lines). A week later there she was writing me up for not double spacing. I told her I did and showed her. After she wrote me up she clarified to double space after a period.

Both double spaces used are accepted by most but computers automatically double space after a period because of the font used.

Typing was one of the most useful classes I took in HS.

How ironic is it that you both typed out those opinions?

I spent probably 3 weeks in typing class my freshman year. Teacher finally told me it was obvious I wasn't going to pass, perhaps I should go to the office and request a class change..... I took another ag class and never looked back

But look at you go.

I took typing in high school. Started out good first term. Second term didn't progress much. Third was getting left behind and regressing. Fourth term passed with a D- and using two index fingers, as I am doing now. Got A's in shop class though.

I taught myself to touch-type in college.

i took typing in 10th grade. I was a county bumpkin in a room with 34 women, only man. Now these city chicks wore short short short skirts , more than revealing bosoms ! After getting my head straight and not observing i passed with 68 words a minute........ I did peek to be truthfull.......whew !

I just bought a box of factory 20 ea, 375 Win ammo for $21 I would just as soon have it as a typing class.
