Plenty Coyotes, LDC , Big Horns Medicine.

Montana Gland, and Rogue Wolf worked good for me too.

Big Horns Medicine makes then dig well. Supposed to be made from snakes.

Collected a coyote yesterday on Coyote Matrix. Also another one that had his LDC at the set (along with some other lure makers stuff)

I don’t remember it being skunky, at least the gallon I purchased. You could always add a drop or two if wanted or needed.

The first jar I ever had didn’t have any skunk smell to it . The stuff I’ve got now does and I’m not a fan of skunky bait . I did catch a coyote yesterday on a bean chaff set with a mouse nest and the tip of a toothpick full of powder river paste bait . It still works but a piece on a toothpick about the size of a number 6 shot is all it takes .

Used plenty of them, even his "student-only" lures.

Hands down fave was A-1, a student lure and originally a Nelson formula. Black in color, thick like tooth paste, stayed where I put it. Clobbered them for a long time with it, largely in T-Bones.

One year, I ordered several four ounce jars. It was light brown in color and more liquidy, and smelled different. It came with a form letter that said it was the same, even though it clearly wasn't.. I did NOT get the same results so stopped ordering it. Something changed, and they acknowledged it. Just wasn't a fit for me any longer.

Powder River was always my Go-To and then I started liking the RK stuff, like Yoteguts above mentioned.

Missouri Breaks, Plenty Coyotes, and Foxey were long-time faves, along with Powder River. Never thought his LDC was a skunked-up as some other long-distance lures I've used, but with skunk being so volatile, perhaps I got some older jars that lost their punch?

In the end, I'd use their stuff with confidence.....anyone that was selling lure in the 70's and is STILL selling today has to be doing it right.

A-1 was my go to here. Like Mark said it's a student lure. It's musky and different. Good trash pile set lure looked like molasses with thick clumps in it. Memorable scent.

I too had the ''different'' lure than before happen to me. I have not gotten his lure for the last two seasons but switched to Wayne Derrick's to shake them up a little. 1080 and G-man are real good along with the single coyote pee. Whatever you use it's a good idea to try something new every few years if you trap the same area over and over.

PRPB does have a slight skunky order. PRPB Plus is ramped up for cold weather
