Got a possum yesterday that I plan on tanning for my buddy's kid. Didn't realize he got sprayed until after I took him home (not too bad until you get your face near it). I know about the hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, soap treatment but I also read that it can bleach the fur. What's the move here? Don't wanna toss it because I've already fleshed it and I gotta have this thing tanned by Christmas.

That little bit of smell will go away with tanning
