Had it for years. First diagnosed when I was about 14 years old. I'm 66 now. I don't recall ever being prescribed anything. Left side of my face, too. It comes and goes in various degrees. Hasn't had much affect on my life.

I had similar thing; Tic Dolurearex. Extremely painful.Dr. wanted to cut the nerve to eliminate the pain. I said no. treated with dilantin. We don't agree on a lot of stuff, but I feel for you and hope you are well soon.

My employer had it in the 70s. I think he recovered in two months.

I had it back in the '80's. Went to see my dad right away (he was a doctor). We put a patch on it and waited.
3 weeks to the day it went away and never bothered me again.

Can't figure out how to keep my eye from drying out.

my eye lid won't close so it's open 24/7....can't blink either

Put the ointment in but can't keep the eye patches on.

adhesive won't stick and it keeps falling off.

gonna try gorilla tape next.

might have to shave my eyebrow.

that will be scary !!

Your eyebrow will just give the tape something to stick too. If the tape sticks to your eye brow too much it will just pull it off. Hope you get better soon.

Old Boss of mine had it woke up with it one morning.

He's no outdoors man, has no dogs, not around any bugs, they ruled out any Lyme, said it was a virus and he was just the one
for it, gave him some meds like you got and he was surly to bed and surly to rise for about two weeks.

Went away, worked with him for four more years it never showed up again, left the place after that.

Lots of things nasty out there no one knows how you get them, can't imagine how the really old timers even lived to 40
back in the days of glory !!

Had it myself, twice in maybe 10 or so years. Like everyone else, I thought I was stroking out. It was an inconvenience more than anything. Seems it was longer the first go-around than the second. 2 weeks max if memory serves me correctly. Last time was maybe 25 years or more ago.

Prayers sent, I didn't know we had so many doctors on T-Man.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Our paster has had it twice in the last year and a half. Had just got over it for like a couple months, and wham, right back again. Now he is about over it completely again.

Had a friend get it and he kept his Elvis type grin for over a year. I was always under the impression that it can be caused by riding in bass boats, dirt bikes, UTVs, etc. etc. Hope you beat it fast !

Surprising to me how many people get it, don't care to figure out the cause why they got it.

Got it 2 years ago when I was 68. Went to hospital thinking it was a stroke but found out it was Bell’s palsy. It did not take long for it to clear up. Did have Lymes disease when I was 40. Have not had either since.

My Dad got it at a late age. The left corner of his mouth drooped a little and his left eye drooped some. I guess it eventually went away. My mouth corners leak when I drink beer, but that's just cause I'm a slob in a hurry to drink beer.

Life ain't supposed to be easy.

All the Dr's at the hospital I spoke with could not give me an answer on what triggered
the Bell's Palsy- All said them didn't know.

If they can't figure it out, what chance does ignorant trapper have of finding the cause.

Like my Angio Edema from earlier in the year, it is idio-pathic.....AKA cause unknown.
