per mile taxIt isn't going away.

been dealing with that and trucks for long time. write down odometer every time you cross a state line. lots of fun if your in city traffic. end of the day have to do paperwork with miles in each state.
im not doing it in my pickup. they will just have to put me in jail and feed me

When electric cars and trucks don't use gasoline , it's how they can tax us . Hope it's only for electric vehicles . It will really tick off the Amish if they have to pay per mile . Have to spend money to get an odometer on their wagons and buggies .

I know there are some countries already doing this. If read the article it says "trial it will also end up more government jobs no doubt. Even mention using GPS on private cars.

Have to spend money to get an odometer on their wagons and buggies . Probably tax the electricity to make up for gas taxes. That would be a triple whammy to everybody. Greenies are happy and everybody is miserable.

Something law enforcement needs a warrant for. Lets go Brandon! Its all about more controle. I drive a ton and pay through my gas tax. If they gi througj this im sure it will cost more. May have to change jobs getting something closer to home and drive an off road vehicle to work. Cheap to get a road tag for and a jap mini truck has a cab, heat, and air. I want to be at home more anyway.

We cant go to electric cars. Not in any significant way at least. Generating stations can't keep up now when everybody is running an A/C. windmills dont work when the wind aint blowing and solar dont work at night when most of the cars will get charged. We need to refuse to comply if this thing gets traction.

Its not about money. can just increase fuel tax. Its about keeping track of who goes where.

It is coming, the electricity will be available, nuclear might get revisited, but today’s vehicles are going to change. I don’t have the answer, I don’t have to like it, but it is going to happen. The ball is rolling. We all know this. Just look at the auto manufacturing plans. The grid cant handel the increase even if they could produce the power they dont have. Especially with them wanting to close the coal plants. They allready habe rollong black outs becuse of to little power. Pipe dream at this point.

Until they can figure out the battery problem as well as how to keep them charged electric cars will be in the novelty department. The average home is NOT set up as a viable charging system. Follow back to where they are fed off of and will keep finding bottle necks.

I don't really know , but they have more up their sleeve than just electric vehicles . We know there's no way to charge them at this point , and green energy isn't ready for a few years yet . Like global warming , it's a goal to control the people . Still wonder what they're going to do with all the donations from the sheep to save the polar bear babies .

To me hydrogen would be the only alternate energy able to supplant fossil fuels. If your going to spend tax dollars, spend it on what's going to give you the most bang for the buck.
