Started my trap line today. 2nd set was ready to go all but putting the lure down. Bent over to grab a stick for the lure and the 1ounce glass lure bottle fell out of my shirt pocket right on the trap pan. Whaaam glass and lure went flying everywhere. All I could do was laugh that one off. On to the next one.

Sounds like you need some more pan tension.

Might as well set a couple sets off to the side of that spot. This time no lure will be needed

Go back and whizz on it, spit on it, and bed a trap just outside the old bed, and it will probably catch....No kidding.

Haha! About a week or two ago, I asked my son to grab a bottle of pee from the truck. He tossed it at me, I dropped it, it hit the pan, fired the trap, and the bottle went up in the air. I caught it and said, “I’m good like that.” He just stared at me with big eyes. I got a face full of peat moss and calcium chloride.

So far. 4 coyote, 2 bobcat, 1 coon,1 possum. But nothing in said set.

Make that 5 coyote. Still nothing in that one though.
