I caught this good looking young male in tire track through a small patch of grass along a half mile fence, fourth coyote here, now I saw the two tracks through the grass and thought that's a good spot! I have a picture of a possible new Wyoming state record cougar

i got a spot where 3 farm roads join. caught number 3 there this morning. think ive caught 8 in that spot last 2 years.
once you find a spot like that. keep setting. Not much for locations here for snares, mainly the fence line, they haven't worked my two flat sets yet I have a farms I got 12, 8,9, 10 on this year, not much there now

Nice Cat. Are they skinned and boarded open like a bearhide? Be nice to see a pic of a dried skin.
That coyote really blends in well with the terrain.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

That coyote really blends in well with the terrain. Ya they can be hard to see if not moving, sun on a white neck or chest helps. He was sitting on the left side of circle, nice pose in the morning sun, but he moved and wouldn't go back

How is a state record determined? B&C records them by skull score I believe. What is the current wyo. record? I don't know

He is a fatty, obviously eating well. The dominant big males are the fattest, I'm guessing they eat first then the others get to eat? Some have almost a half inch thick layer of fat
