I caught this good looking young male in tire track through a small patch of grass along a half mile fence, fourth coyote here, now [Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
I saw the two tracks through the grass and thought that's a good spot!
I have a picture of a possible new Wyoming state record cougar

Not much for locations here for snares, mainly the fence line, they haven't worked my two flat sets yet
I have a farms I got 12, 8,9, 10 on this year, not much there now

Wow! That is impressive!

Most in this country have things people in other countries only dream about. Yet, they want America to be more like those other countries.

There was a similar picture published in THE WALL STREET JOURNAL on 2 March 2012- https://www.wsj.com/articles/SB10001424052970203986604577255732262230236 . I do not subscribe to that newspaper. Dan Richards chief of the Fish and Game Commission took a lot of heat for the shooting of the cougar- https://www.foxnews.com/us/california-wildlife-official-under-fire-for-puma-hunt. Also see- https://witnessla.com/cougar-killin...state-parks-audit-accelerated-and-more/.

I do not know if this is the same cougar as was in the picture posted byTactical.20

I'm after #12 at my house this year. With coyotes having little value this year I decided to just trap at home. Did catch six at other places before I learned of their value.

Nice Cat.
Are they skinned and boarded open like a bearhide?
Be nice to see a pic of a dried skin.

That coyote really blends in well with the terrain.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Ya they can be hard to see if not moving, sun on a white neck or chest helps.
He was sitting on the left side of circle, nice pose in the morning sun, but he moved and wouldn't go back

How is a state record determined? B&C records them by skull score I believe. What is the current wyo. record?

The dominant big males are the fattest, I'm guessing they eat first then the others get to eat?
Some have almost a half inch thick layer of fat
