Way to go, by still engaging in the same activity at a more relaxed pace. One can enjoy the work much more by not being so rushed or stressed. When I retired the first time I took on a couple part time things that kept me busy but it sure was different and less stressful. The one thing I did learn or find out when one has more time on one's hands one can become much less efficient in the use of time. I can tell I am getting older (just turned 74 last Tuesday) as it does not bother me nearly as much as it used to. Enjoy what you have earned to be able to do.

Bryce

Congratulations! Enjoy the extra time you will have to work.

I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

Varmintshooter on here is taking it over. He's been working with me for the past few years. I would venture to say he's better at beaver'n than I am. I know he'll do a good job.

Congratulations Mr. Dobbins! From now on when someone asks what you're doing just tell them "whatever I want"!

Just saw this post. I still can't believe you are retiring. Your like the beaver trapping "Rock Star". It's really been a great pleasure working for you. I will never fill your shoes, but maybe I can follow your trail(s). Take care Buddy and enjoy your retirement.

It's more like a worn out old beaver trapper than a Rock Star - tired

Probably selfish on my part, but as long as you keep making that bait solution.. I'm happy with whatever you decide.

Congrats Paul on the "semi" retirement.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Yes sir! Tomorrow I'll filter and bottle a batch of skeeter pee, put the pomegranate wild berry wine cooler in secondary, put clarifier in the Chardonnay, put another batch of skeeter pee in the secondary and start another wine cooler batch.
