They did drop their after Christmas rates as promised, but the new rates will more than offset that.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I have been paying $9.20 for small flat rate boxes for quite a while. Really?? The listed rate for small flat rate is $8.45. Where are you paying that? Sounds like a rip off. There are web sites that give you a discount, but they all charge a monthly or yearly service fee. Not worth it for a small shipper like me. Stamps.com. Ship Station. Shipping Saint. Plus lots more.

That $21.50 is the old price on the large FR box it looks like, it stopped being a bargain years ago at one time it was the way to go. Even the regional boxes are up in price to close by states.

Right here at the post office. I still have several receipts that indicate $9.20 for small FR box

Maybe that was the pre-Christmas price.

I have been paying $9.20 for small flat rate boxes for quite a while. I usually send two to three small flat rate boxes every week and I have also been paying $9.20 for a few months Looking back at receipts July 6th they were $8.45 November 29th they were $9.20, December 6th they were $9.20, December 14th they were $9.20 I have been sending via UPS since my last shipment on Dec. 14th. It costs me about $1-$1.50 more and I know the package will get there and be on time
Gotta live up to the nickname...
