I took a guy under my wing a month or two ago and he’s caught himself 4 coyotes and a coon. I didn’t watch him set his traps - he just watched, learned, asked questions, and rocked it. He also had his first lesson on frozen traps. Tracks all over his pans and traps were still set.

Here are his first pics of a coyote and coon he put up!

Well I’ve got to say I couldn’t of done any of this without John’s expert help! I’m truely blessed to have such a great teacher and friend! It’s been a great time so far learning and I’m sure it will continue! Now to get back out and free up some frozen traps!!

Good job Ironhill! You got a great teacher...learn more from him and if he asks you to some “ gopher stuff “ do it. Learn all that he has to offer as these skills will pay dividends one day.

I had two beaver today and saw a pile of coyote tracks...breeding season ain’t too far off. I hope to put bracelets on a few.

Thank you! Couldn’t ask for a better teacher! I’ll have to remember that “gopher stuff” that sounds interesting for sure. Looking forward to some beaver too, hope you get some of those coyotes too!

Man crocs? Lol. You should of worn those when you took me on the tour in Cali. Your arms are long but you can’t quite reach across the border. I hope we don’t see you in a “ man bun” in the next picture!
