I skinned a bore coon today that had an abundance of smelly essence. Well not really essence, but yellowish fluid secreting from its nether region. Had a noticeable musk odor so I collected what I could. Anyone ever tried this as lure for a canine set?

That's raccoon pee. Some people use the boar urine to exclude females and pups from chimneys and the like. I don't know of anyone using it much as a lure additive but it may be ok in a raccoon gland lure for late/breeding season coons.
