Mike came up a couple winters ago and helped me with a big drywall fininshing job, and we tried out my 10" Steinmeyer...Mike did the first 100 or so that knife ever did...that's all in my basement.

If I couldn't rough skin a beaver In 8 min and flesh it on my beam In 10 min I'd quit trapping beaver. Never could get the hang of clean skinning.

That's what I always say about clean skinning. Gotta have the right knife, and it has to be sharp enough to shave with.

About 60% of the beaver can be done with the dull side of your knife.

Hey trapper Les. With your video you should show doing the trickier parts of clean skinning, like around the legs and shaving down the shoulder gristle. Just saying... grin
