My wife and I just finished one. My question is has anyone ever completed a big one and had all the pieces? We were missing one piece when we finished.

My wife and I have done many over the years. Never had a piece missing that I recall.

She just completed one this week i'm in the process of glueing together going to frame it. I have one framed she completed of terry redlin. [Linked Image]

Get her this one JByrd

The jigsaw puzzle with the most pieces consisted of 551,232 pieces and was completed with an overall measurement of 14.85 x 23.20 m (48 ft 8.64 in x 76 ft 1.38 in) by 1,600 students of the University of Economics of Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), at the Phu Tho Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on 24 September 2011.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I have a young special needs friend that works 1000 piece puzzles. He does not place them on a table face up. Just random. Once started he will just sit and look at the pieces, face up or face down. Then unerringly pick up a piece and place it exactly. Amazing.

It has to fit on her "puzzletable" folds out and she can walk around it. She's 80 and has rhuematoid arthritis so she has to use the table it is the perfect height for her.

I wasn't blaming the manufacturer. We put the puzzle on one end of our large kitchen table and put it together as we have time, sometimes just a minute or two as we walk by. The last one took about three weeks to finish. We always figured we managed to lose a piece or two somehow. I would like to blame her cat but it could of stuck to my arm or a cup or other misc.

Every once in awhile I'll buy a new one and drop it off at the nursing home in town. There are some ladies there that love them.
