I did. I turned them loose to the bed of my truck but they didn’t want to go anywhere from there. Plus they looked warm so I took their sweaters.

Allan, but then they volunteer like this. Lol.

Took 2.5 days to thaw out in my shop just so I could skin a brick. I learned my lesson. Never leave a frozen coyote on the ground. Hang them right away. Or they just don’t thaw.

A before and after picture of a snared one. The balled up one was in a snare and there was no disturbance of the set site. I reached down to grab it and it looked at me. Lol.

You can see that crawl under isn’t disturbed a bit. Kill spring wore him out in probably 10 seconds.

Jake, I was teaching a buddy and pulled out the Post flesher for him. He brought one of those $10 fleshers that cuts as good as a lawn mower blade after riding up and down a volcano a few times. Lol.

My Lee Steinmeyer flesher is what I use most. I do use the Post on occasion too. Both top of the line. I’ve got a few more that are decent also.

I can’t say I have a consistent board I use. I have some solid boards, some top lot adjustables, and some adjustables from Craig Todaro. I like them all but they get picked based on the size of the coyote.

And this year is great because I haven’t flipped a single dog. They’re all fur in because they’re all going to the tannery. All 100 something of them.

Gonna go check some traps now.
