I've seen some lure makers call they're lures "matrix" lures. What are they trying to say with this description?

The matrix scent cannot be saved that I ever heard of so it’s more of a name then a reality.

They are trying to say it smells like a female in heat, I believe. Everything I've read says that smell can't be preserved, but plenty of lure makers claim to be selling it. I honestly don't know if they think they have a way to hold the scent in lure, if they are using synthetics to try and reproduce the scent, or if they know there isn't anything of the scent left in the lure but they call it matrix just to sell lure. I suspect a little of all of the above, depending on the luremaker.

We can not keep the estrogen, it is so volatile that it will not stay. But I do believe that you can keep what I call solids or mucus components that are also present and part of the release at the time of estrogen. So when the male smells those they are attracted. This is why I believe with the doe in heat urine or scents, for example, made with the doe in heat urine will attract deer, unless the buck is on a real heat cycle doe, then the estrogen real-time takes over and holds.

There are products and materials that can give you the matrix effect in predator lures to give you the interest you are seeking to have. It isn't common knowledge obviously but it is being done by a few who work in the field

I believe those smells that many are try to create are somewhat mimicked by adding blood and certain types of fish oil to glands.

Years back I had a female Doc Russell that went into heat, my male at the time went love sick stupid if a person could replicate that he/she would be rich. LOL

I've duplicated that love sick stupid thing a few times in my life but it cost me $. Now maybe if I would have focused on bank accounts instead physical traits maybe I would of had different outcomes. Lol
