If coyotes are the primary target is the full size k9 Extreme the better choice ?

I love my Extremes, but if I had a chance to do over, I would go wth the juniors . If you could guarantee that you would catch only coyotes, go with the Extremes. They are hard on coons that find their way into your sets.

I started with a dozen of each and have added an additional 4 dozen Jrs with no regrets. Both good

The juniors aren’t small. I wouldn’t want to use anything bigger. Try a few of each if you aren’t sure

Yeah you're talking what a 1/4 inch difference when the trap is closed? Unless you plan on trapping in states with smaller jaw restrictions, I'd just stick with the extremes

Extremes are wonderful for coyote. Great on bobcat and definitely hold wolves if they are around. Built like a tank.
