Does it freeze? What is the mixture when using it for an antifreeze with water?

I don't mix it with water. I've never seen it cold enough here to freeze bait I add it to one pint/gallon of meat base.

Ive used it as anti freeze for fox trapping, I mix it about 1/3 glycol to 2/3 water, if it gets below 20 degrees, I go about 50-50.

Muskrat,
Your catalog has got to be a misprint. If you use that formula it will not work. Try using a 50/50 mix with water.

If it has fur and it doesn't come when you call it by name, it belongs on a stretcher, in a jar of bait or in a frying pan.

In warmer climate such as ours here in South Georgia, the 1:2 mix is ok.
But when you are just north of us, as in N. Georgia or East Tennessee, you need the 1:1 mix.
No, it doesn't cause rust.
Adios,
435/70,

50% glycol, 50% water will keep set working down to 15 degrees or so for a few days. Ace
