This was my second year trapping. Trapped pretty hard the first 2 weeks of November and messed around during Christmas with a line half the size. I have a few sets out that I am still scratching the itch with before work, but I will be pulling this coming weekend. I did ok before deer season but kind of struggled after deer season. Have a ton of learning to do,but had a great time this year especially the days spent with my daughter. Here are a few of the pictures.

Yeah, that mad coyote was caught during the day. I was at that set around noon that day, and of course nothing in it. About 4 hours latter the farmer text me to tell me I had a coyote in the trap behind the barn. Makes you wonder how often that kind of stuff happens. I had a just opposite thing happen last year on a bobcat. I got a text from my buddy and he said that I caught a bobcat around midnight (cellular cam). I told him sounds good, I will be over first thing in the am to let it go. We can only keep one in PA. When I got to these sets I look out in front of me and see a cat in one trap and another just out of view to trigger the camera in another. My buddy looked down through the camera pics and 7 min before we got to these sets I caught the second. Crazy how things Work!

And yeah, cell cams tell a lot. I’ve caught coyotes and cats as soon as the sun sets and caught some while I was riding my line early the next morning. Even spent a lunch hour to go take care of a cat that showed up in the middle of the day, lol.

Yes we got alot of cats, I dont want to sound greedy since part of the state cant even keep one cat, however in my part of PA we have a ton of them. Wished the would manage them different.

Appreciate all the kind words!! I try to make it fun for her and get her involved as much a I can. Not sure if this is something that she will continue to do when she gets older. However, I give all my kids the opportunity and if anything try to teach her the importance of why we trap.
