Oh, Law Dog, don't be going and picking up the buck skull without calling the game boys first! Don't even move it!!
The GF&P reluctantly "allows" us to shed hunt but picking up buck skulls is something they have to investigate. They are very protective of "their" buck skulls. And if its a big one (buck skull) with inside spread of 22 or more inches, just leave it there because they will take it and put it in their annual auction. NO PRIVATE CITIZEN in SD is allowed to keep a 22 inch inside spread or larger found buck skull. They will cite you (even if that administrative law isn't found in the annual hunting book) if you take it. Good luck...

Ex- Amish what part of Ohio are you in? That's a great haul, I have a place in southeastern Ohio and the bucks definitely started dropping earlier this year than past years. The weather has been pretty rough this winter so I think that probably had something to do with it I’m in the northern part. The bucks here have been dropping for a few months now

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo
You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

I will be waiting a couple of months before we are able to get out here. I know someone else from there who is waiting for the snow to go away. Then the detector comes out.

Landowners can have them I’m no collector I’m just happy to trap, yes they have a hard time letting go it seems like just like the roadkill ones.
