If this has already been discussed, I couldn't find it. Has anyone used or tried pigeon meat ground in a bait solution? Most of the dairy farms I trap have a pigeon population that I keep thinned as best I can when time permits. We do eat a few for the novelty but most end up crow and hawk feed. I have a bottle of dobbins solution and will be cleaning enough birds to fill a gallon, figured I would let it taint slightly and add the bait solution. I'm done trapping for the season so it will be a bit before I will know if it is any good or not. Just wondering if anyone has experience using pigeon for coyote/fox/bobcat?

I like to chunk my bait I found if you grind baits the mice have a easier time hauling it off VS a chunk of meat or fish. Don’t see why it would not work and not being a game animal it should be legal to use then.

Poultry in general is a good meat for predators. How you prep it makes the difference.

Appreciate the responses, thanks for taking the time. I have used it fresh a few times and had success but never heard or read of others using it.
