The sables that were bought at the February sale in ST.Petersburg can't be shipped out of the country.

As to my post above, conversely the Russian Sables at the SAGA sale on March the 6th did spectacularly well. They might be the only Sables that can be brought out of Russia this year, or maybe for a few years, this bodes well for FHA's sale later this month (at least for Sables)!

XXL seemed popular. They should like mine.

It looks like the rest of the sale was a flop. frown

I saw that nearly 250 marten at the trappers sale that was just held in Idaho averaged in the mid $30's. That is really good for Cascade/Rocky Mountain type of marten. Alaska marten should double that I suspect.

Found 22,000 farm and 10,000 sable offered on the sale but no results. Results posted for mk., fox and finnraccoon. Wondering year over year what the improvement might have been. I assume high clearance if prices up.

Look in "Catalog" " with price". In Euros, which is about equal to the U.S. dollar now. 1.10 or so U.S. dollar buys a Euro. Prices are similar to last sale at Suspusina (Sorry can never spell it).

Thanks Dirt and yes found it. No idea though what difference there is year over year from last year. FHA marten sale March 26 and we find out then I suppose.

Sables appear to have been up about 30+% grade for grade from last year. This is hard to calculate because these are the only Russian sables that will enter the market this year. The Sables that sold in Jan. at Sojuzpushnina can't leave the country, and the buyers can't get their deposits back. Having said that, this looks to bode well for most good section North American marten, even at the coming FHA sale that will have problems with most articles. Their next sale is late enough to have dressing delivery issues for anyone wanting to move the merchandise into the coming fall/winter season.

With all the boycotts, etc of everything Russian, will Alaskan marten possibly gain value this year or next.

You would think, but with many manufacturing regions in China going into lockdown again might not be as much, this year anyway.
