Putting my lures into storage until next season. Any way to keep the metal caps from rusting? Many of them become impossible to open.

Put a drop of mineral oil or glycerin on cap threads.

A smear of Petro gel or Vaseline will hold them from getting worse and allow easier opening.

Cover the top of the bottle with a small piece of plastic wrap, then screw the lid on.

All great ideas. Thanks!
Bob, will Vaseline affect the odor of canine lures at all?
