I have 2 lbs of Varget I haven't cracked the cap on yet... Not sure why I'm saving it. I'd trade it for a couple pounds of H1000 in a heartbeat though.
I know one reason Varget is so popular is its temp stability... Same with H1000. Lol
Mike Varget is so popular with the .223 AR guys cause the burn rate (pressure curve) is perfect to make an AR cycle perfectly and shoot great.

I just got an 8 pounder at Recobs in Sauk City for 250 plus tax. I use it in 22250, some of my 308s, sometimes in 223 and am planning on trying it for my M1 Garands. Also picked up an 8 pounder of Reloder15 right in your hometown Pete.
Varget is great powder.

Varget is great powder. he is starting to get some more powder it i noticed he had some imr 4895 last week and some relaoder , I am hoping he has H4895 soon good to hear Recob's is getting some in last time I called while out near there he had 4 powders in the whole store.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
