I am using Bridger #2s 3s and Mb 550s . I am getting full pad catches but my issue is the foot is locking up to the far right instead of the the center of the trap . Could my problem
be that i am not offsetting my trap enough to the right of the bait when bedding my trap? I know this happens but is there something I could try to minimize this .Thanks.

A lot of variables to consider, I don't normally care if the foot is left or right as long as it is in the trap. What exactly is the problem if your full pad catch is not centered?

Just make sure your swivels are in the middle of the trap, if you have it swiveled on one side it will do that.

If the foot slides at all it will slide to one corner the other. Even with center swiveled traps the corners are still further from the attachment point of the trap.

The traps are center swiveled. The Bridgers are rubber jawed traps

That has no effect on the foot.

Its the foot sliding due to weak springs or offset jaws that cause foot cutting.
