Looking to get a food processor for the lure room. Not a huge volume guy like the commercial guys but looking for something to get the job done on some batches that are too small for me to run through the grinder. Any suggestions or advise is appreciated

Thanks
Seth

Look for a Oster Regency food processor they have several attachments mostly blender/grinder attachments, they were popular years ago check the thrift stores, flea bay or local rummage sale sites. Get extra parts they are so cheap just fix the broke parts you brake or swap them out.

I have a Ninja that I use a lot for many different things and it's held up well. I've been using it for the past 10 years and haven't burned it up yet.

You need to prep a little more obviously to lighten the load when using the home grade stuff frozen and whole glands take a toll on them if your not careful frozen pods will jam up my Hobart grinder even.

I only make small batches (1/2 gal or less) but I agree with the above. The dual blade system on the Ninja works really well, and they’ve been out long enough now that they’re not difficult to find at a yard sale. With a grinder, the blades and plates have to be in near pristine condition to keep from clogging, and even then it helps if the material is partially frozen. The Ninja doesn’t care. I just turn it on and let it run til I have the consistency I want. It doesn’t take the place of a grinder for the start of any meat base, but after that, no contest.

Ended up with a 2hp ninja I found ebay. Looking forward to see what it can do this weekend.
