do beavs have two litters a year or only one? If only one, the kits must grow up fast. Does look like too many juvies in that last pile!!

Nice hauls of beaver Iowa!
Castor is kind of interesting as you can find shells and nice plump ones side by side any time early or late. But in general I think the plumpest castors are just prior to breeding season which for us in open water western Oregon is late December.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!
