Caught this guy yesterday. Winters been rough on these guys this year. Winter seems to be losing it's grasp on us and starting to see more sign. Sloppy roads coming over the next few days but that just means spring may finally be here!

I have never been able to kill one of those without having it spray. I wish I could because I would love tan one for the wall at camp.

Learn the pole method it’s very reliable and the best chance your going to have. I have a buddy that uses a full stick of steel rod to stick his, my pole is 5 foot but I like the challenge. LOL

I caught one after Thanksgiving, it sprayed...left it in the shade for 24 hrs and there was no stink. Food for thought.

Mine too is a 5'er. Easier to control the pole and I like the challenge too!

Had to set a couple new spots the daily calls have petered out so I set a couple feed lots, the ground feed is attractive to what I’m after will see what the morning brings. Trying to decide if it’s worth running a varmint line in April or not with gas prices what they are the $10 bounty is tempting but $4.20 gas will eat that up pretty quickly.

$4.20? Ouch! It's only $3.89 here. I set a bunch of livetraps at the neighbors today. Usually pick up a few skunks there during the summer months but thought I would throw a few out there since it's less than a mile from my place and my elderly neighbor is happy to have regular visitors after a long winter. Snow is rapidly disappearing and and the roads are muddy again.
